相比<On Our Own>這首詩詞如畫、史詩般彭湃且戴有宗教意味的歌，在下一張專輯中同樣出自Bruno Major筆下的<To Let a Good Thing Die>，在宏觀的生命探討下宿命論的淡出更讓此曲顯得接近<Place We Won’t Walk>。
加上這張專輯較為貼近生活的基調，像是之前介紹過的<Regent’s Park>，還有讓Major在TikTok上爆紅的<Nothing>中，都可以觀察到【To Let a Good Thing Die】與【A Song for Every Moon】的根本差別。比起「在宇宙的無情運轉下找到生命的規律」，<To Let a Good Thing Die>給奇耳的感覺更像是陽光灑落漫步在微風輕拂中，睜著眼睛冥想，讓思緒飄緲到樹梢上、照映至河流波粼裡那般的悠靜、坦然且釋懷。
整首詞曲帶來的感覺稱不上樂觀但也絕不是悲觀，如果只能用一個形容詞描述這首歌曲的話，只能用「透徹」了吧。

原文的「drum up the heartbeat」可以理解成有人心跳停了，仍一直敲打他的胸口希望能挽救，非常白話，所以我選擇在英文裡同樣代表死亡的「gone」，也就是離開，來做一個小小的文字遊戲。
